Special Kingsford High School Rocket Project
This rocket is a half scale Nike Apache two stage rocket. It is half the size of the two Nike Apache rockets that flew from Copper Harbor in January of 1971. It will be flown in the fall of 2010 or the spring of 2011 to mark the 40thanniversary of Rockets being flown to outer space in Michigan. This happened at the Keweenaw Missile Rangenear Copper Harbor. More information on the Keweenaw Missile Range and the launches can be found here
